In Parkinson\u2019s disease, the loss of dopaminergic neurons in specific brain circuits is a key reason why movement becomes more difficult over time.<\/p>\n<h2>Where in the brain is dopamine produced?<\/h2>\n<p>Dopaminergic neurons are found in several parts of the central nervous system, especially in the midbrain.
